Job Overview

The site engineer represents the executive part of the projects and assumes more responsibilities, as he must adhere to the design document, work quality, schedule, and safety of persons, costs and more to satisfy the consultant on a personal level.

A site engineer is part of the site management team, and takes some of the responsibility for security, health and safety, and organizing and supervising materials and people. Site engineers mark out the site, make sure designs are applied correctly and liaise with main and sub-contractors and the site manager. Regular liaison with the client, its representatives, and any consultants is another key part of the job.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing reports on all works on the site and linking the technical and consulting office in the event of adjustments in the works.
  • Consider the strength of building materials and choose the most suitable for construction work.
  • Provide technical advice on safe and constructive designs.
  • Analyzing the basic component configurations of the structural structure.• Liaising with professional staff such as QC engineers and checking all work done by contractors to ensure structural integrity.
  • Make some engineering tweaks with computer aided design technology.• Preparing and preparing to start managing and organizing the site, whether administrative work, linking the site to the technical office, or linking between the owner and the company.
  • Responsible for the quality of work carried out on the site and the speed of its completion and showing it in the best way.
  • Solve problems on the site while giving quick and useful solutions without complicating the matter and stopping the workflow on the site.
  • Setting an organizational and executive plan to link all works to the site.
  • The ability to deliver on time and avoid errors and expected delays.
  • Providing industrial in various fields to speed up the completion of work.
  • Knowing the prices of raw materials on the market and choosing the best and least expensive.
  • Create service relationships to achieve the desired goal.
  • Giving new allowances and solutions to serve the project.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction or similar.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Sound knowledge of Engineering, construction, and design.
  • Great leadership and organizational skills.
  • Superb project management skills.
  • Ability to apply logical and critical thinking skills to projects.
  • Great written and verbal communication skills.
